Adjustable saddle width : Choosing the correct XCH gullet plate
When you purchase an XCH Saddle it will be supplied with a gullet plate already fitted, which may or may not be correct for your horse. These are generally a standard fitting for an average sized horse. There are two sets of Gullet plates (Series 1 and Series 2) depending on which saddle you choose. The type of Series and the Gullet Size is specified on the website when you make your purchase.
It is strongly recommended to check your horses’ measurement, you will find that your horses changes shape throughout the year and you may need different sized gullet plates to accomodate the changes in size.

STEP 2: Once you have measured your horse, the correct gullet plate size is clearly shown on the measuring device. Click the ‘CALL NOW’ button below that corresponds to the size and colour of gullet required.
